Instead of generating tutorial-quality tests with brittle CSS selectors, Playwright Pro enforces battle-tested patterns from production test suites: role-based locators, web-first assertions, proper fixture architecture, and isolated test design. Both are optional — the plugin works fully without them. Smart hooks auto-validate every test file you write (catches waitForTimeout, hardcoded URLs, non-web-first assertions) and auto-detect Playwright projects on session start. Zero overhead — they run silently.
